What does feminist changemaking really look like on the ground? And what makes the difference between philanthropy that is pathbreaking for young leaders and funding that creates yet more obstacles to meaningful change? Hear directly from young feminist leaders fighting for gender equality in five countries in the Global South. Speakers represent a range of organizations and issues, from grassroots work on child marriage, SRHR, and gender justice, to more established organizations working for girls’ education and women’s rights. Each will speak to their own work and experience, highlighting how funders can better support them through grantee-led, feminist, trust-based philanthropy.
